Sometimes we get lost in the business of life. Sometimes we give our 200% for a project we're invested. Sometimes we lose sleep, and let anxiety take over things we can't control. Eithera personal, work, or family event, we want everything to go perfect... Oh well, surprise surprise, here it comes life again! it turns out that sometimes, thing don't go as planned... and yes: it sucks!
For us perfectionists- it might be a little harder to accept "failure", or how I like to call it "harsh learning". We tend to overthink everything, and to go back to every single detail, and wonder what could we (we could) have done better.
Today's message is - You gotta let things go, and accept that there are thousands of things you can't control. There are many external factors that won't align with your planning, and will make things go "the wrong way".
With this I'm not saying you should stop your life and feel sorry about yourself, that you are always right, and the world is wrong. NO! - instead, this is a message of resilience.
Allow yourself to fail; to stand up, and to learn.
Don't be harsh on yourself. Happiness legit is a journey, not a destination.
Take the good from your experiences, and move forward - negative vibes will only damage your spirit.
"El diablo sabe más por viejo, que por diablo" - it's a Latin saying that translate to something like "the devil knows it all because he's old, not because he's the devil". Yes, you must be like - this lady is going crazy right now.. but, the takeaway is: take note of your bad experience's details the learning from your bad experiences, and make sure you are cautious in the future - these little bumps in the road, will make you wiser!
I hope you're enjoying this therapy session I'm having with myself... after a long, long day of work - Combine it with an Irish coffee (extra whiskey) for better results, deeper thoughts, and more forgiveness to yourself!
You rock, and you kick 🍑!
