Are you serious, Kim?

t's the third week of the year, and we're back on track with our lives. Day drinking, and binge eating are part of the "past" now. If you're giving it all to achieve a healthier lifestyle, I celebrate it with you, because I'm also going for it. 

One myth I would like to break in here is the famous "detox" diet that will suddenly erase all the holidays' shenanigans, and magically give you a six pack!. Let's all see the latest KK's post, and let's break down a little her caption:

First of all - can we really trust a testimonial that starts with the #ad? - I do know that most of these influencer post things they feel identified with. However, the fact that the post was paid by a brand gives an immediate biased review. How would this "flat tummy" company feel if after paying more than $100k for a post, their product got bad reviews?

Not trying to be a hater in here - I'm in marketing, and I do value the power of having a big figure backing up products. It boost sales, and let's companies spread the word about awesome products.  I'm no saying that @flattummyco is not effective. I'm saying that getting back on track from the Holiday's festivities takes way more than just a tea per day. It takes a lot of effort in the kitchen (a good diet), at the gym (a good exercise routine), in social settings (having 1 glass of wine, instead of the whole bottle + 5 shots), and a lot of patience!. I truly believe that is time to wake up, and stop dreaming with a magic product. Success comes hand by hand with hard work. 

One tip to not go crazy during the process, is to not put yourself down. Make  t least one positive affirmation every morning, and internalize it. Also, remember the good times you had while gaining those extra lbs. After those extra pounds are gone, you'll only have the great memories!. It is in our hands to give our lives a twist, no matter how "out of control' a situation seems to be. You can do it, girl!
