It’s that time of year where everyone is past loving the snow and now desperately wants to remind themselves of their warm glowing summer vibes and skin. Here’s how to fake your glowing summer skin with a light makeup look this winter.
Start by adding a bit of bronzer to warm up your face. My favorite is the Hoola Bronzer and I use it below my cheek bones and on my hairline to add some color and light dimensions to my face.
For the eyeshadow, take a medium brown and add it to your crease to add some dimension but not to create a heavy look. I use the “Jetsetter” shade from the Tarte “In Bloom” Eyeshadow Palette.
After I blend that out with a fluffy brush I take a packing brush and I place the shade “Funny Girl” from the same palette all across my lid which is a sparkly golden color. If you have any issue with applying glitter shadows, spray your brush with a setting spray or water (I use rose water), and then apply like normal. Doing this will help the glitter stick and create a full coverage eye look.
I blend it out a bit more on my crease and I add some optional mascara to complete this minimal glowing look to help you get out of the winter blues.
