s black women, we encourage ourselves to love our skin, our hair, our bodies above all else. We’ve been told that loving ourselves is the best way to fight back at a world that constantly finds avenues to put us down.

So, here is one more way to ensure that we keep on loving our beautiful black femininity. Music. We always have our earphones on, listening to podcasts or songs. Why don’t we use this medium to fill our ears with uplifting and empowering music.

In this, I’ve got you, girl! I compiled a playlist from some brilliant artistes, female of course! You’ll notice that these songs are from black women like us and they all preach one thing. Self love. In no particular order,
