tacy Jones thank you for supporting our Kickstarter Campaign.

1. How have you struggled in the past to appreciate or love your body and how have you overcome that struggle?

I used to believe that once I was smaller and looked more desirable, then all my struggles would be fixed. I blamed my body for my difficulties and thought I would get love, validation, and feel worthy once I looked a certain way. I overcame this by realizing that there was so much more meant for my life and that if I let go of these external pressures, I would not just be surviving, I would thrive.

2. What do you love most about your body?

I love the softness. There is great beauty that comes with knowing how incredible the human body is and all the ways my body supports me and is soft at the same time. This softness is not a sign of weakness or being lazy, it is a sign that I am human, and I am living.

3. What message do you have for other women who struggle to appreciate and love their bodies?

We are so much more than our body. Our body is going to change and look different over time no matter how hard we try, but there is so much more to us than how we look. Who we are as a person, that is where the magic lies, not in how we look.

4. Why do you support SMV?

SMV breaks away from beauty standard and shows that there is beauty within all of us, and that beauty comes from being unapologetically ourselves.

Thanks for the support, Stacy! We love you! --- The SMV Team
