runa Brito thank you for supporting our Kickstarter Campaign.

1. How have you struggled in the past to appreciate or love your body and how have you overcome that struggle?

In the past some people use to say that my body was too slim and that I had no butt, and that I also had a big stomach. I used to not take care of my body. I used to eat everything I loved eating like ice cream and chocolates. But society made me feel like I wasn’t good enough.

So, I’ve learned to love my imperfections and embrace my beauty, and also to change my poor habits, not because of society but because I love myself. I started eating healthier and exercising, but if I feel I deserve to eat ice cream or chocolate I eat without thinking I shouldn’t because life is today, and we don’t know if tomorrow we will be given a second chance at what we would like to do.

2. What do you love most about your body?

I love my long legs. I think they are gorgeous, and they don’t have to be thicker to be more beautiful.

3. What message do you have for other women who struggle to appreciate and love their bodies?

The message I have is to let women know you don’t need to satisfy society or anyone to make them love your body. If you love your body, are confident, and think that you are sexy, then you are.

4. Why do you support SMV?

I support SMV because it makes women feel more confident. It shows that you are beautiful no matter how you look, and that is the most important thing to evolve our minds for a healthier generation.

Thanks for the support, Bruna! We love you! --- The SMV Team
